Terms and conditions of use of digital artwork from UVEX SAFETY GmbH & CO. KG

Privacy policy

Use of the files (logos, product and promotional images, insert templates etc.) in the uvex safety media database is only permissible within the scope of advertising activities of trade and press partners as well as for the work of agencies and is limited to the duration of the respective cooperation with UVEX SAFETY GmbH & Co. KG. Editing, redesign or modification in any other way of the files is not permitted, the only exception being the black and white reproduction of the logos, insert templates, and product and promotional images. Any use beyond these terms of use is prohibited. UVEX SAFETY GmbH & Co. KG expressly reserves the right to revoke the authorisation to use the content of the uvex safety media database if these terms of use are violated.

Although every effort has been made to ensure the correctness of the product information and images contained in the uvex safety media database, technical or typographical errors in the article information and associated graphics published in the uvex safety media database cannot be completely ruled out. UVEX SAFETY GmbH & Co. KG does not accept any liability for such errors if they only represent a minor breach of duty. UVEX SAFETY GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right to make changes at any time. Download takes place at the user’s own risk.

Charges/authorization for use

The data, images and copy offered here may be downloaded free of charge and used for uvex-related advertising. The use of data, images and copy from the uvex media database must always be authorized by uvex. For this purpose, please send a PDF of the design/layout, stating the proposed use (e.g. “Product catalogue” or “Trade press advertisement”) to improof@uvex.de. You will receive authorization or our amendment instructions within 24 hours.

Trademark rights

All trademarks used on the websites of UVEX SAFETY GmbH & Co. KG are registered by UVEX SAFETY GmbH & Co. KG. Use of any of the trademarks or logos by third parties without the express permission of UVEX SAFETY GmbH & Co. KG is prohibited.

How we treat your data

We are obliged to treat your personal data with the utmost care. The data you provide us directly or indirectly via the internet are important to us. The conditions of the applicable legal norms are strictly adhered to by UVEX SAFETY GmbH & Co. KG. We neither sell or trade customer or prospective customer data nor infringe upon your personality rights in any way.

Transmission of your data to us via the internet is only secure if the padlock symbol on the lower status bar of your browser is closed and the address line begins with ‘https://’. We reserve the right to use this procedure for certain data. If this option is not active, please consider this when sending further personal information over the internet via other applications such as email.

Consent

When you enter data about yourself, you thereby allow us to save and use these data in accordance with the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (German Federal Data Protection Act). This personally identifiable information is treated confidentially within the Group. You may retract your consent at any time; your personally identifiable information will then be deleted.

Exceptions

The information we receive and save when you visit our websites is used exclusively by UVEX SAFETY GmbH & Co. KG. This information will not be used for personal identification purposes except to defend against attacks which constitute criminal offences or which prevent or impair the proper functioning of our websites.
